Power Politics of two families
Shahbaz Sharif’s 37 cabinet members took oath. Cabinet members are a combination of interconnected relations, a confluence of experience and inexperience, Bilawal Bhutto, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s absence in the cabinet is interesting, JUI got 4 ministries. MQM has two ministries. On the other hand, Sharif and Bhutto dynasty rule has been restored in Pakistan. PML-N has returned to power for the fourth time and PPP for the fifth time. It has been 21 years since the Sharif family came to power in Punjab.
Bhutto from 1970, Sharif family ruled from 1985. Ever since these two families came into politics, they have formed their own sub-networks up to tehsil level. These families have come together for a reason, and that reason is Imran Khan. Traditional politics seems to be coming together in one place, all this seems to be a booty. This government is not a government formed by winning elections. It is a government formed by cornering a big party. The impression of this government becomes booty.
The whole issue seems to be a constitutional one. Imran Khan is calling it a conspiracy. PPP is interested in constitutional positions, the issue of Speaker has been decided, the issue of Chairman Senate will be decided when the seat becomes vacant. The PPP wanted these three ministries. There was a deadlock on the law ministry. Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar wants to become a full-fledged minister. Apart from this, there were many other issues.
After 1947, India abolished the feudal system. Unfortunately, this did not happen in Pakistan. It became stronger and stronger here. When Zulfiqar Bhutto was in jail, he wanted to make a party leader acting chairman instead of Nusrat Bhutto. The party feudal lords objected to the appointment of anyone other than Nusrat Bhutto. Then when Benazir Bhutto could not contest the elections, Makhdoom Amin Fahim was made the President of the PPP. After the martyrdom of Benazir Bhutto, Bilawal Bhutto The party chairman and Asif Ali Zardari became co-chairmen. The Sharif family had nothing to do with politics till the 80’s. PML-N should learn a lesson from Indian Congress, family politics cannot last long. When Nawaz Sharif family was deported, Javed Hashmi was made president, then he was dumped. Of
Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif should have given the chief ministership of Punjab to someone else. I don’t think Bilawal Bhutto should be the foreign minister. Look at Imran Khan, he has been the party chairman for 25 years now. If this does not happen then new parties will continue to be formed. Asfandyar Wali was made president by amending the constitution of ANP. I do not know why family system is running in the parties. “Democracy will continue. This will stop the development of politics.
